In response to several proposals being floated by the State Treasurer to shore up the state employees’ pension fund, the VSEA Board of Trustees will be sending a packet of information about the Treasurer’s report to members this week, which will include a survey to gauge how members want VSEA to proceed.
VSEA members have been gearing up for this fight for a while now, and you’re urged to keep in mind that the press reports being generated by the Treasurer’s report released last week are very premature, as employees have yet to have their say in this debate.
