VSEA “Honk-And-Wave” & Yard Signs Are Here!

VSEA Support Our Vermont State Employees

December 9, 2015

With less than a month remaining before the start of the 2016 legislative session, VSEA members recently requested that their union order some yard signs to distribute in communities across Vermont, reminding lawmakers and elected officials that Vermonters support their state employees.

The first batch of yard signs is being distributed to VSEA Council members at next Tuesday’s Council meeting in Montpelier. Signs will also be available at headquarters, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

VSEA members are urged to share some signs with your family, friends and neighbors who support state employees and the essential services you provide. With a tough budget fight ahead at the legislature, it’s time to stop the cuts (again) and change the budget debate in Montpelier.

VSEA has a limited number of the large "honk-and-wave" signs, but members will be urged to use them often when they are conducting a visibility action or campaigning with a labor-friendly legislator.

Thanks in advance for your help!
