Due to timing, the budget presented to VSEA members at this year’s VSEA Annual Meeting did not reflect the cost(s) associated with VSEA’s affiliation with the Vermont AFL-CIO. For this reason, members at Annual Meeting voted to shelve a vote on a budget until the one they had viewed could be amended.
The budget has now been revised by the VSEA Budget Committee, and both the VSEA Board of Trustees and Council recently voted to approve it. This sets this stage for a special Annual Meeting to be scheduled so the membership at large can hear what was added or deleted, weigh in on what they hear and then vote the revised budget up or down.
