Just a handful of VSEA members turned out on Saturday to march in the 2011 Essex Junction Memorial Day Parade, but the sun was shining, the mood was festive and the crowd reception was great. It was nice along the parade route to hear things from the crowd like "We’re sorry you had to take a cut" and "thank you so much for what you do." VSEA thanks those members (and staff) who took time to attend. You are the true backbone of VSEA. Thanks also to the VSEA Chittenden Chapter for hosting a BBQ for hungry marchers.
