President Reese Invites Interested VSEA Members To Attend 2011 UALE Summer School For Union Women!

Popular conference draws union women from across the northeast.

Greetings:

From July 17-22, the United Association of Labor Education (UALE) will host its 36th annual Northeast Regional Summer School for Union Women on Rutgers University’s Cook Campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

In years past, many VSEA women have attended the UALE conference and found the experience educational, inspirational and motivational. In fact, the past response to the conference has been so positive that VSEA is once again offering all interested VSEA women the opportunity to attend this year’s conference.

If you are selected to attend the five-day residential conference, VSEA will cover your fees, which include tuition, housing, room and meals and parking. Travel to and from the conference will also be provided, but VSEA will be asking members to carpool if possible.

Because space is limited, VSEA needs to hear from interested members by close of business Thursday, June 16! If you are interested in attending, please call or e-mail VSEA Clerk Tracey Tapley at 241-1001 or e-mail her at tracey.tapley@ahs.state.vt.us.

Thanks for your interest! Below is a flyer for you to post at your worksite.

John Reese

VSEA President
