VSEA is pleased to announce that an online page is now live for members and others to donate to the “VSEA Fund for the Children of Lara Sobel.”
“We’ve had requests from members and other Vermonters who were looking for a way to help, so VSEA was pleased to work with the Sobel family to establish this special fund,” explains VSEA Communications Director Doug Gibson.

Union: State Could Have Avoided Protest
VSEA thanks Brattleboro Chapter President Robin Rieske for penning an excellent letter to her local paper, promoting unions and working people.
"Unions are under attack nationally, and here in Vermont the landscape is not much different. So what can you do? Support the unions. Get involved in the ones you are a member of. Support the unions your loved ones or neighbors are in and the ones that fight for fairness and justice for all workers including those not in unions. It has been proven time and time again, that the response to economic inequality is labor unions."
