VSEA is reminding members of the lump-sum payment due in your February 8 paycheck. It was successfully negotiated by your union in seven bargaining unit contracts. Employees in the Non-Management, Corrections, Supervisory, Defender General, Judiciary, State’s Attorneys’ Offices, and State Deputy Sheriffs units will be paid a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,000. This payment will be made in the paycheck for the first full pay period in January 2024 which is January 14 through January 27. That pay date is Thursday, February 8, 2024.
VSEA has scheduled four informational Zoom meetings and 18 in-person worksite meetings for members of the Corrections Unit to review the recent contract settlement agreements with your bargaining team. These meetings are a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

In advance of Public Service Recognition Week 2024 (May 5 – May 12), VSEA’s Communications Department is inviting members to submit the names of colleagues who are deserving of special recognition for always going above and beyond to provide quality service to the Vermonters they serve. We’ll be choosing some of your nominations to feature during PSRW 2024.
