Will Wells Memorial Food Drive Challenge

VSEA’s Board of Trustees is again challenging every VSEA Chapter and its members to raise as much money as possible between now and December 31 to provide meals to a “virtual food drive” for the Vermont Foodbank.

Did you know donating money directly to the Vermont Foodbank provides more food, bang for the buck, than donating food you’ve purchased individually? This is because the Vermont Foodbank can purchase food at bulk discounted rates.

The total amount of money VSEA donated to the Foodbank in 2021 was $7,000, and VSEA’s Chittenden Chapter raised the most for the second year in a row!

Want to get in on the challenge? Just choose your VSEA Chapter from the list below and you will be taken to a designated Chapter donation page. Through this donation page, every dollar you donate supports the Vermont Foodbank. The VSEA Chapter with the most money raised by New Years’ wins some well-deserved bragging rights!

Donate By Mail! In past years, some members and retirees have chosen to send their contributions via U.S. Mail. If this is your preferred method, please be sure to include a separate note, indicating which Chapter gets credited with a contribution. You can mail your check with your VSEA Chapter designation indicated to the Vermont Foodbank, 33 Parker Road, Barre, VT 05641.

Thank you to everyone for donating to this very special cause!
