VSEAid Seeks Turkey Donations To Assist Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf
VSEAid will be collecting VSEA member-donated turkeys Nov. 18, 19, 22 and 23 at different Chittenden worksites.
VSEA Aid: Please donate turkey to CEFS.
Dear VSEA Member,
After learning that the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf (CEFS) has only 14 turkeys towards its goal of 2,700 for this Thanksgiving, VSEA Aid moved into action.
Please consider making a turkey donation to support CEFS or please make a financial contribution. Turkeys are on sale at Hannaford, Price Chopper and Shaw’s, running from .59-.99 a pound. We will collect donated turkeys outside of designated worksites in Chittenden County. Check out below.

Below are a couple of most common questions:
1. What size to get? Whatever you donate is greatly appreciated! Small to medium size is best.
2. If I prefer to make a donation, how much should I do it for? Again, anything you donate will be greatly appreciated. Consider the cost of a small to medium size turkey and make a donation for that amount. Please make a check out to the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf (CEFS) and you can deliver your check at any of the VSEA Aid pick-up locations.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
