VSEA President Shelley Martin (pictured here with Dept. of Liquor Control officer Matt Gonyo) attended today’s DLC Board meeting to ask the governing board to address the "culture of retaliation" that VSEA members say currently exists there. VSEA Executive Director Mark Mitchell and Union Representative Kelly Burns also addressed the Board with a similar message; Mitchell asking the body to please direct the DLC Commissioner to begin working with the union to improve the employees’ work environment.
