Vets’ Home Being Placed Under More Intense Microscope

Just a week ago, VVH administrators told the VVH Board of Trustees that things were going well and the Home had cleared a recent inspection.

“We pulled off a miracle (in September) and we are not going to revisit that time period again," said the VVH ‘s top administrator.

Could this new letter/warning be the impetus to hire adequate staff to ensure no more Septembers?

VSEA Hosts Small Holiday Meet-And-Greet

Last night, VSEA headquarters staff hosted a small holiday get together at the newly re-opened Thrush Bar and Grill in Montpelier. The event was held to introduce new VSEA staff members to key Vermont leaders who attended, including Treasurer Beth Pearce, Secy’ of the Administration Jeb Spaulding, Finance Commissioner James Reardon, DHR Commissioner Kate Duffy, Sen. Vince Illuzzi, Sen. William Doyle and NEA President Matha Allen.
