The response to the VSEA Chittenden Chapter’s invitation to all VSEA members across the state to attend the July 24 Vermont Lake Monsters game with the Chapter has been amazing! To date, Chapter President Kara Haynes reports that more 400 members and their families are coming and that nearly half are coming from outside the Chittenden region. Haynes says it was a goal to open the event up to all members and she’s excited about the response.
Way to go Chittenden Chapter!
A retirement incentive program passed in the recently concluded Vermont State legislative session will give 300 executive branch employees the opportunity to retire this year and receive as much as $15,000 in cash. The State Treasurer’s Office today mailed letters and program applications to eligible employees.

VSEA’s Barre Chapter held its annual "Employee Appreciation Day" event at the McFarland State Office Building today. VSEA members in Barre were treated to free ice cream in a complimentary VSEA pint glass.
