Tentative Contract Summaries Sent To VSEA Members In Three Units

VSEA members belonging to the Non-Management, Supervisory, and Corrections Units should have received an email on December 15 from VSEA Labor Relations Director Gary Hoadley, summarizing the terms and conditions VSEA Executive Branch Unit Bargaining Teams agreed to with the State.

If you did not receive the emails or if you would like to view them again, please select your bargaining unit from this list:

Two District Board Of Trustees’ Seats Up For Election

body

Do you want to get involved with the leadership of your union? One of the best ways to do so is to serve on the VSEA Board of Trustees. VSEA District 2 Trustee, Ben Webster, and VSEA District 4 Trustee, Roy Catella, announced recently that they would be stepping down from their elected Board of Trustees seats. Because there is still more than a year remaining in their current terms, an election is required to fill their seats.

To be eligible to run for one of these District Trustee positions you must reside in, or have an assigned workstation in one of the districts listed below:

  • District 2 – Waterbury & Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital

  • District 4 – Franklin/Grand Isle, Chittenden, Addison

If you are interested in running for this VSEA Board of Trustees’ seat there are two ways to do so. Learn more here.

Big Thanks ESD Central Office!

VSEA is sending thanks to the ESD Central Office for recently conducting a holiday gift auction to raise funds to donate to the Will Wells Food Drive Challenge. The effort was very successful and the office raised $1,042 to donate!! Outstanding.

The challenge remains until the end of the month and VSEA members and Chapters are encouraged to continue contributing.

Want to get in on the challenge? Just choose your VSEA Chapter from this webpage and you will be taken to a designated Chapter donation page. Every dollar you donate, via this donation page, supports the Vermont Foodbank. The VSEA Chapter with the most money raised by New Year’s wins some well-deserved bragging rights!

Thank you to everyone for donating to this very special cause! Let’s make this year’s drive VSEA’s best ever.
