Bob Stone Elected New Non-Management Unit Chair
VSEA’s Elections, Rules & Nominating has certified the results of a recent online election to choose the new Chairperson of the union’s largest bargaining unit, the Non-Management Unit.
Here are the results:
Bob Stone (DPS) – 180 votes
Brett Pierce (DPS) – 172 votes
Pierre Lamarche (AOT) – 97 votes
Bob Stone, an Assistant State Fire Marshal, has served on the NMU Bargaining Team for years, including as Chair. Stone has also served VSEA as a Board member, Council member, Steward, Chittenden Chapter officer and NMU Executive Committee member.
