Sharing the Scott Administration’s response to VSEA’s March 14 letter, which, you’ll see, is not very comprehensive.

VSEA leaders and staff are meeting again with Administration officials tomorrow morning and will be pressing for more concrete answers on many of the questions members are rightfully posing. VSEA is hoping that a requested FAQ–to be prepared by the Administration–will be available soon.

Scott Administration Sends Memo To Update State Employees On Coronavirus Threat

The following memo was emailed by the Scott Administration:

As state employees, you know that the people of Vermont depend on all of us to deliver vital services night and day, every day of the year—through winter storms, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks. Fortunately, we have experienced professionals across our agencies who have risen to the challenge to prepare for and respond to threats like H1N1 influenza and Ebola. I’m confident in our ability to meet the challenge of this new coronavirus, COVID-19.
