Greetings VSEA Members:
Interested in playing a role in your union’s leadership? A great opportunity lies in joining the VSEA Board of Trustees. Chris Granger, the District 6 Trustee, recently announced her decision to step down from the elected Board of Trustees position. Since there is less than a year remaining in her current term, VSEA members who are interested in filling this seat should send a letter of interest to VSEA@VSEA.org
To be eligible for this District Trustee position you must reside in, or have an assigned workstation in the district listed below:
- District 6 – Brattleboro, Springfield, White River Junction
The deadline for submitting a letter of interest is 4:30 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
As a reminder, the District 4 (Franklin/Grand Isle, Chittenden, Addison) Board of Trustees’ seat is also open. You can find more information about the District 4 election on VSEA.org here.
What Does The VSEA Board of Trustees Do? Day-to-day matters are overseen by the VSEA Board of Trustees who dedicate their time to managing the internal affairs of VSEA and assuring that VSEA policies are adhered to.
