When We Fight, We Win! Lessons from the Bus Drivers’ Victory and Next Steps Building a Work with Dignity Movement:

Thursday, May 8
7:30 p.m.
Contois Hall, Burlington City Hall

In an effort to bring working Vermonters together to discuss the lessons learned from the historic contract victory recently achieved by CCTA bus drivers, a special panel discussion with many of the strike’s key players is being held Thursday, May 8. VSEA members are urged to attend this important event, which is being sponsored by the Committee to Support the CCTA Bus Drivers. It begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Contois Auditorium in Burlington’s City Hall. Drivers and panel members from several unions, including VSEA, will draw on the lessons of the strike and how they can be applied to other current workplace struggles across Vermont. Bring your colleagues to join the discussion about how to build a stronger labor movement and preserve and grow the number of good-paying union jobs in our state.
