Thursday Deadline To File A Petition To Run For One Of Four VSEA Board Of Trustees Seats Up For Election

Thursday, June 1, is the deadline to file a petition to run for one of four VSEA Board of Trustees’ seats currently up for election. They are:

  • Supervisory Unit Trustee: A three-year seat that represents VSEA members in the Supervisory bargaining unit;
     
  • Corrections Unit Trustee: A three-year seat that represents VSEA members in the Corrections bargaining unit;
     
  • Vermont State Housing Authority, Defender General, and State’s Attorney’s Office Units Trustee: A three-year seat that represents VSEA members in the Vermont State Housing Authority, the Defender General, and the State’s Attorney’s Office bargaining units; and
     
  • District 4: A three-year seat that represents VSEA members in Franklin County, Grand Isle County, Chittenden County, and Addison County.

To be eligible to run for one of the Unit Trustee positions listed above you must be a member of that bargaining unit. To be eligible to run for the District 4 Trustee position you must reside in, or have an assigned workstation in Franklin County, Grand Isle County, Chittenden County, or Addison County.
