VSEA Steward Training – Steward 101/FMLA
Hello VSEA Steward,
Mark your calendar and register below for the next Steward Training on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. This training will be conducted in person at VSEA Headquarters and virtually via Zoom.
You must attend at least one training session each year to remain an active Steward. Under your collective bargaining agreement, you are entitled to union leave time to attend up to 4 Steward Trainings annually without affecting your leave balances. We encourage you to take advantage of all trainings offered, as each training covers a different topic.
Steward Training: Steward 101/ Family Medical Leave
Date: Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
Time: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
In-Person Attendees: VSEA Headquarters – 155 State Street, Montpelier, VT 05602
Lunch will be provided, and mileage will be reimbursed to/from your home.
Virtual Attendees: You will be invited to register via Zoom, and materials will be included.
