Day At The Races 2024

The popular “VSEA Day at the Races” at Thunder Road Speedway in Barre is returning this year on Thursday night, July 11, 2024.

This year, VSEA will have a total of 95 free tickets available, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each family can receive up to four tickets. VSEA will also host a barbecue for all ticket holders before the race.

– Ticket Distribution: Starts at 5:00 PM. VSEA staff will have a booth set up at the Turn Three Entrance, adjacent to the Barbecue Pavilion.

– BBQ Start Time: Begins at 5:30 PM for VSEA members who receive tickets.

Additional tickets and food can be purchased at Thunder Road.

Members who do not receive a free ticket and meal are still welcome to join the VSEA group seated at Turn Three but will need to purchase their own entry ticket and food.

On Saturday, July 6, VSEA is hosting a “Day In The Park” for members and their families to enjoy one of the five Vermont state parks listed below! Please register here!

Elmore State Park – Beach House – Morrisville

Boulder Beach State Park – Lake Groton

Camp Plymouth State Park – Wedding Grove – Plymouth

Pets are allowed in the park on leash and on the grass. No pets at the beach/on the sand. If pets like to swim, they may do so only at the cartop boat launch. Please clean up after your pets.

Sand Bar State Park – Milton

At each of the parks listed, VSEA Chapters will be providing members and their families with free park entry! The park day is meant to be a small thank you to VSEA members for your hard work during this especially difficult past year.
