The Coalition to Pass the VT Protect the Right to Organize “PRO” Act” (which includes VSEA), or bill S.102, is holding a press conference today to discuss the urgency behind this bill and how it can help Vermont build a healthy workforce and economy.

All workers and allies who care about workers’ rights are welcome to join us!
S.102 will level the playing field and make it easier for workers in the private and public sectors to form a union by enacting the following:
Expanding the right to collectively bargain to agricultural and domestic workers.
Giving employees free choice as to whether to attend employer meetings that have the primary purpose of communicating political or religious opinions. Simplify union elections in the public sector by granting union recognition on the basis of a majority of workers signing up to be represented by a union.
