International Workers Memorial Day Is April 28

International Workers Memorial Day Is April 28. This year especially, fighting back against a terrible pandemic, thousands of frontline public workers have tragically died while providing critical health services to Americans or while directly monitoring or working with at-risk populations.

VSEA remembers these workers and all before them who made the ultimate sacrifice while doing their job, or as a result of their job.

VSEA members continue to identify workplace safety and health as a primary issue for their union to forcefully address.
