"Providing employees platforms to voice opinions and participate in decision-making are crucial to workforce engagement."
VSEA members were instrumental in convincing the Vermont Legislature to institute a reward-based program for employee-generated cost-savings ideas that lead to actual savings. Unfortunately, the program sunsetted in 2012 and is no longer in effect. VSEA members are hopeful the program will be resurrected, as new employee ideas certainly didn’t sunset in 2012.
Vincent Illuzzi Sr. worked most of his life in Barre as a granite sculptor and carver. His works can be viewed from Vermont to Pennsylvania to Washington D.C.
VSEA sends its heartfelt condolences to Sen. Illuzzi and the entire Illuzzi family.
