VSEA members and staff attended the 2014 Labor Notes conference in Chicago Illinois this past weekend. Labor Notes is a non-profit organization for labor and community activists throughout the world. Every two years Labor Notes holds a national conference that attracts thousands of union leaders, members and staff from around the world. The main purpose of these conferences is to help unions and activists build networks, learn from a wide variety of workshops and to discuss labor strategies and struggles.

This year Labor Notes celebrated 35 years and more than 2,000 union members, leaders and staff traveled to Chicago for the 2014 conference- the biggest Labor Notes Conference yet.
