“Rare Concession” Scott Administration Agrees To Follow Law When Making Future VLRB Appointments

Good Timing With Three Upcoming Appointments.

 

VTDigger published story this evening about the Scott Administration now saying it will follow the law when making future appointments to the Vermont Labor Relations Board, unlike, VSEA continues to contend, when Governor Scott appointed Karen O’Neill as a "neutral" to the VLRB. Scott Administration reps tell Digger the law will be followed moving forward, including when appointing three new VLRB members in the near future.

 

“That’s good,” VSEA Executive Director Steve Howard tells Digger. “It looks like they are going to start over with the mess they created, but they have a lot of work to do.”

VSEA Mourns Employee’s Tragic Death

The entire VSEA family is sending heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of Courtney Gaboriault, who was tragically murdered Wednesday, July 4 in Barre in what State officials and news outlets are terming a murder-suicide.

Gaboriault, just 29, started working with the Department of Public Safety in 2013 as an Administrative Services Coordinator, based in Waterbury.
