VSEA & VTA Issue Joint Statement On Anticipated Protests

In anticipation of possible demonstrations on the Capitol grounds in Montpelier this weekend–with the possibility of violence like we sadly witnessed during last week’s attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol–the Vermont Troopers Association (VTA) and the Vermont State Employees’ Association (VSEA) are calling on protesters to conduct a peaceful demonstration, obey the law, leave property undamaged and, most important, respect the men and women who will be called upon to be on-the-job, performing the public service they were hired to do for the State of Vermont and its citizens. We thank you in advance for hearing our call.
