VSEA Barre Chapter Meeting

Hello Colleagues,

Please join us for our upcoming VSEA Barre Chapter meeting! We’re hosting a focused, 45-minute session to connect with one another, share updates from our worksites, and hold a special election for a new Chapter Treasurer.

Whether you are a longtime VSEA member or not yet a member, you are warmly invited to attend. If you aren’t a member, this is a perfect, no-pressure opportunity to see firsthand what a local chapter meeting looks like, learn more about our union, and connect with fellow state employees from different departments.

Location: McFarland State Office Building – Penthouse and Zoom.

Agenda (45 Minutes Total)

Welcome & Officer Introductions (5 min) – Meet your current chapter leadership.
Worksite Check-ins (12 min) – An open floor to discuss what is going well and address any challenges or concerns facing your specific worksite.
Old Business (8 min) – Review of previous meeting minutes and outstanding chapter items.
New Business: Treasurer Election (15 min) – Nominations and voting for our next Chapter Treasurer.
Good of the Order & Adjournment (5 min) – Announcements, upcoming VSEA events, and next steps.

We encourage everyone to come, in person or on Zoom, to share their worksite experiences and participate in the election. If you are a member interested in running for the Treasurer position or would like to nominate someone, please reach out in advance or be ready to speak up during New Business.
