Enroll Your Business In The VSEA Advantage Program

Welcome Vendors!

You are invited to participate in the VSEA Advantage Program which provides a platform for you to share your business with over 6,000 Vermont residents and their families.

What is the VSEA Advantage Program?

The Advantage Program is one of the many benefits of belonging to the Vermont State Employees’ Association (VSEA), providing thousands of VSEA members with one-click access to dozens of special business/service/recreation/restaurant/amusement and other discounts available only to VSEA members.

Participating Advantage Program vendors have an open door to thousands of VSEA members, who live and work in communities all across Vermont. Broaden your client base across Vermont easily by promoting your discount or special program to these VSEA members and their families.

What are the Vendor Benefits?

First and foremost, it is free exposure for your business, and VSEA provides several vehicles to promote your business/service to its members, including:

  • Email distribution to 6,000 members;
    • A four-color ad in the union’s weekly email blast, the VSEA Week In Action (WIA) (2x per year);
    • Promotion of your offer in WIA content (1x per year);

  • Inclusion in the Advantage Program Discount Directory, which is distributed at VSEA events throughout the year and is included in the “new member packets” of incoming, newly hired state employees;

  • Online Listing in the Advantage Program Discount Directory with links and contact information for all Vendor partners; and

  • Promotion as a “Vendor of the Month”; a distinction earning your business/service an ad posting on the VSEA website (1x per year) and a flyer posting on VSEA bulletin boards in hundreds of state work sites.

Who are VSEA Members?

VSEA members are nearly 6,000 classified, frontline Vermont state employees, working in numerous agencies and departments across the state. In addition, after their working life is over, many VSEA members choose to stay engaged with their union, and this pool of retirees is also eligible for member benefits. Eligible members an retirees can be identified by their green VSEA membership card.

Exempt state employees (primarily management positions) are not members of VSEA and are therefore not eligible to receive your offer.
