June 13, 2026: VSEA Primary Endorsements Announced!

Your union, VSEA, has made its endorsements in the upcoming primary election on August 11, 2026. These are the candidates whom your union thinks will stand up for your pension, your health care, and your pay.

Your fellow members on the VSEA Legislative Committee, the Board of Trustees, and the Council spent hours reviewing candidate questionnaires and voting records to identify the candidates they believe will stick with State Employees when the going gets tough. The decisions are made with regard to these issues and others affecting VSEA members directly— and not on any other issues.

This round of endorsements only includes candidates in contested primaries— that is, candidates in races where there are more candidates running than seats available. Because of low turnout in primary elections your primary vote— and the votes of your fellow members— can have an outsized influence in determiningwho serves as your boss!
