Rutland Chapter Meeting

Hi Everyone!  

For those I haven’t met, my name is Carter Neubieser I recently joined VSEA as an organizer and have been assigned to help revamp the Rutland Chapter.

Moving forward we will default to meeting on the second Tuesday of each month in Conference Room 266 in the Asa Bloomer building. Our next meeting will be February 10th at 12noon. We’ll have sandwiches and some light drinks. We can happily accommodate dietary restrictions as long as we know in advance, just email me and I will note it!

I have heard building safety & maintenance issues have been and continue to be a top concern of many members. My colleague, Jen Larsen, is the organizer assigned to the “Safety, Health & Maintenance Committee” (SHMC). This is an avenue members bargained for to resolve issues like the leaks some of you reported to me.

Jen agreed to come to our February meeting and share what that committee does, how to report issues, and what some past resolutions have looked like.

Additionally, we’ll need to hold elections for President and any other vacant chapter offices. I will send more information as we approach our meeting on that.
