VSEAid Seeks Volunteers To Help RIF’d State Employees

Do you have a skill or service you could offer to a displaced state employee?

SEEKING VSEA VOLUNTEERS TO HELP RIF’D VSEA MEMBERS

As we all know, more than 120 state employees have unfortunately been RIF’d directly, or bumped out of a position, in the past year.
Knowing that many of these displaced employees could probably use a helping hand right now as they work to find new employment while struggling to keep their life—and their family’s life—as stable as possible, VSEAid (the union’s volunteer network program) is soliciting the names and contact information of VSEA members who have some time, or maybe a skill/service (e.g. painting, food shopping, child care, etc.), that they can offer a displaced employee.
If you are a VSEA member who would like to volunteer some of your time to assist a displaced VSEA member in your area, please contact VSEA Organizing Coordinator Gretchen Naylor by e-mail at
gnaylor@vsea.org.

VSEAid Thanks You In Advance For Your Consideration!
