VSEA Diversity Committee Solicting Feedback From RIF’d Employees

Committee trying to examine if any disturbing patterns exist.

The VSEA Diversity Committee is interested in determining whether RIF decisions are being made by State agencies and departments in a way that impacts employees with certain personal characteristics (i.e. sex, age, race, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, etc.).  If you have been told that you are being RIFd, and there is reason to believe that the RIF decision has been influenced in any way by one or more of the above-stated characteristics, please e-mail us at VSEAdiversitycommittee@hotmail.com.  Please provide your name and contact info, and a brief statement as to why you believe the decision to RIF you has been influenced by the particular personal characteristic.  If you do not have access to e-mail, you can call and leave a message for Goldie Watson at 802-241-3127.
