Vermonters Weigh In On “Challenges For Change” Proposal.

VSEA President Bob Hooper testified on behalf of state employees, reminding legislators about what state employees have already offered up to help right Vermont’s economy, and requesting more information about how legislators intend to fill any budget holes created by a rejection of a part(s) of the CFC plan.

Hooper concluded his remarks by referencing the bright yellow rain slicker he was wearing, saying it was his not-so-subtle request for the legislature to now begin considering using Rainy Day Funds if there are holes.
