SUMMARY:Central Vermont Annual Chapter Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our Central Vermont Chapter Annual meeting will be help on Wednesday, July 29th at VSEA HQ.  For those unable to join us in person, a Zoom link has been provided below.  \nWe will hold ELECTIONS!  \nWe will be holding elections for all Chapter officer positions.  This is an opportunity to help directly shape VSEA.  Please send letters of interest to any current CVC Officer.  Nominations will also be accepted during the meeting.\nDescription of roles\nPresident: Chapter presidents are responsible for organizing chapter meetings in accordance with their chapter’s bylaws. You must run those meetings in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order, make sure your Chapter follows all other bylaws, and help recruit state employees in your Chapter to become union members. You will not be alone! Other members of your chapter will help, and you will have a staff organizer assigned to assist you! Chapter Presidents are all also VSEA Council members.\nVice President: Takes over for the president if they step down or are absent from a meeting.\nClerk: Takes notes at each meeting, brings a typed copy of those notes to the next meeting for review, and ensures their notes are submitted to the VSEA Communications Department.\nTreasurer: Each Chapter is given funds to spend on their members.
