We continue to collaborate on important topics both locally and around the state.\nAt our latest chapter meeting, we held a vote for the open VSEA council seats. Please join me in congratulating and welcoming our newest council members, Amanda Foley and Brian St-Pierre!\nI would also like to announce that the Picnic tables for Laura’s Place have arrived at 118 Prospect Street. I hope this gives employees another reason to get outside, enjoy the weather, have good conversations with our hardworking peers, and honor Laura’s memory. A big thank you to the VSEA Board of Trustees for the support of this project and for the continued dedication of our chapter’s members.\nLastly, I would like to offer an incentive for those who may be on the fence about the VSEA or simply attending a chapter meeting. The WRJ chapter will be raffling off a gift card for those in attendance at the July chapter meeting. Let’s continue to grow and advocate for our needs and wants as state employees.
