From Sead’s Essay: “I began working for the state of Vermont in March 1999 as a data clerk in the Department of Taxes. Now I am a tax examiner III. In 2003, I received an associate degree in accounting and am now working towards my bachelor of arts degree.”

Pursuing Degree In: Gaming, Simulators and Robotics

From Joshua’s Essay: “I built my first robot when I was 7, which consisted of an old fire truck. When I was 13, I began making games using simple programming language. The skills I learned in all my years of tinkering with computers and appliances will be very helpful in achieving my goal of bringing about technology that will benefit not only the average man, but the entire world.”

From Emily’s Essay: “I want to graduate with a double major in epidemiology and pharmacy. I want to travel the world, help third world countries and take my degree to new levels. After traveling the world and helping people, I want to go into research. I marvel at those who work at the CDC and the WHO. I want to be part of eradicating diseases and finding vaccinations and cures for the bacteria that bothers most of us. You may think this is a very ambitious plan, but I am quite the ambitious person and I know I will get where I want to be.”

From Zachary’s Essay: “I love history and the thought of teaching it to others really excites me I have thought that, after I finish college and get a Master’s Degree, I’ll find a good teaching job in Vermont and live. It’s as simple as that.”
